Happy Birthday, John!

John's birthday is right by, if not on, Father's Day. So we usually celebrate them together. We had cake on Father's Day, so on his actual birthday we let him blow out all his candles (on Sunday we only did 12, 3+9) and open presents. Birthdays aren't as exciting now as when you're little, but it's still fun. Happy Birthday!!

Happy Father's Day, John!

John is such a great Daddy! All three boys love him, and love it when he's home. Ian claims him for his own as soon as dinner is done ("hey Daddy, don't you want to come and play with me now?"). They love to wrestle, get horsey rides, climb all over him, watch him do his yo-yo, find spookables in the dark, play outside, you name it! I love that he loves to be a Dad. I especially like that he was willing to take care of them as babies; when Caleb and Levi were first home we didn't take them anywhere for months. John was willing to take care of them (so I could get out once in a while) and feed two tiny, hard to feed, time consuming babies. For their first month home he even fed them once in the night, every night, so I could sleep. Not his idea of a great time, but he did it anyway. We all love him! So Caleb summed up everyone's feelings for Daddy....

Happy Father's Day Grandpa

John loves to make videos and use his creative ability - here's a little Father's Day movie for Grandpa Prestwich. Happy Father's Day!!

May 2008

In May, Ian graduated from preschool. He had a great year, from the very first day he loved going.

The first 10 seconds of this video is Ian actually "graduating", the rest is his amazing dancing ability. He was so happy to be playing and dancing with his friends, even when getting thrown to the floor!

We also got to go on a trip to Salt Lake City, to a wedding. It was a great trip, everyone was happy for the most part. We walked around Temple Square one evening which was really fun.

Ian loved the reflecting pool.
Ian, Caleb, Levi

And, because it's cute, this is Levi. We let them get out and run around some, but here he was getting a little bored of what he could see out the front of the stroller :)

May is getting long, but here's one more, for Grandpa - Caleb, Levi, and Ian showing off their wrestling abilities - think any of them are ready for competetion?

April 2008

Caleb and Levi love Ian, and think just about anything he does is funny. Ian likes Caleb and Levi more and more, now that they can play and interact with him.

I keep trying to get Caleb or Levi to sing while the camera is on, it doesn't usually happen. Caleb sings all the time, while he's playing. Levi sings less often but when he does he's pretty understandable. This is Levi singing.
